Emergent Surfaces operates at the juncture of architecture, art and the future. Located in Havana, Cuba. The project acts as a catalyst for change, for the regeneration of El Malecon. It encourages art and urban art to revive the space in which it inhabits.The campus serves as a hub for learning and free expression. Inspired by ‘Wild Noise’ the art exchange between Havana and the US, a dialogue between the art and architecture is observed. Drawing those interested in Art education or art as a wider genre, it serves to activate this city in a state of decay.
